Over the last year or so, I have fallen in love with wool, tweeds, British heritage fashion and countryside living. Recently, I purchased a blazer that was a collaboration piece between Jack Wills and English cloth company, Abraham Moon & Sons Ltd (that you can read about by clicking here). It cost me quite a bit of money (as it always does), but the cloth woven for the blazer is just beautiful.
I do love and respect trades and businesses like Moon that dedicate themselves to keeping British manufacturing alive, but even more so when they have a rich history and a charming story about them that can be conveyed on an almost emotional level.
We don't make enough in this country anymore, but when we do, the rewards and the quality, I feel, are very great and something to be very proud of.
